Summary
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. We only keep the minimum needed to reach you: account login, verification codes, app notifications, and support.
What we collect
- Phone number to create an account, sign in, and send a verification code.
- Name if you enter it in your profile.
- A device token so we can send app notifications when you allow them.
- What you send us: a claim, rating, or support message, including an optional photo with a claim.
We do not collect data for ads and we do not track you across other apps.
How we use it
- To run your Masar account.
- To reach you with notifications, verification codes, or support replies.
- To handle bookings and questions you start (usually on WhatsApp with the listing owner).
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties and we do not sell it. We do not give your number or name to advertising companies. Hosting and notification delivery are used only to operate the service on our instructions, not for their own marketing.
When you tap WhatsApp to book a hotel or service, that chat is between you and the listing owner. We do not sell that conversation.
Child Safety
Masar is a general-audience travel app. It is not directed at children under 13. Accounts are intended for adults (18+) or use with a guardian.
- We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE / CSAM).
- Sexual contact with minors, requests for sexual images of minors, or promoting such content is forbidden.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children.
- On a valid report we remove the content and account, and we cooperate with lawful requests.
To report: use the Support page, WhatsApp, the phone in our contact details, or the in-app claim form.
Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to run the service. You can request account deletion from the account screen in the app.
